Dudhbundi
You will need –
- 3 cups bundi
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 cup cream
- 6 cardamoms
- 6 almonds
- 6 cashew nuts
(You can get bundi fried in ghee at a sweetmeat shop. They can also be made at home, but the process is rather laborious, so it is not worth bothering to make a small quantity).
Method:
- Bring the milk to a boil, boil rapidly for about 10 minutes.
- Add the sugar and the cream. When the sugar melts, add the bundi and simmer for a few minutes.
- Garnish cardamom powder and peeled and sliced almonds and cashew nuts.
- Chill and serve.
