Candied Ginger
Key Ingredients
- 2 kg fresh ginger
- 1 kg Sugar
Direction
- Peel and cut ginger into thick slices.
- Cross again.
- Boil in a pressure cooker till tender and water evaporates.
- Add sugar and cook till ginger is coated with sugar.
- Spread out on a tray to cool.
- this candied ginger can be used in fruit cakes.
