Chilli Paneer

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 tbsp cornflour
- 1-1/2 tbsp maida
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 125 gms paneer
- 1-1/2 tsp soya sauce
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 4-5 slit green chillies
- 4-5 flakes crushed garlic – optional
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1/4 tsp each of ajinomoto, sugar
- 1/4 tsp each of salt, pepper
Method
- Cut paneer into 1/2″ cubes.
- Mix corn flour, maida and salt in a bowl. Add enough water to make a batter of thick pouring consistency such that it coats the paneer.
- Dip each piece of paneer in batter and deep fry to a golden brown colour.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil. Fry the green chillies and garlic. Reduce heat. Add salt, pepper, sugar and ajinomoto.
- Add soya sauce, tomato sauce and chilli sauce.
- Add the fried paneer and coriander. Mix well.
- Cook for a few seconds till the sauces coat the paneer.
- Serve hot.
