Paneer Magaz
Serves 4-5
Ingredients
- 250 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
- 4 big (250 gms) tomatoes
- 1 tbsp magaz
- 1 tbsp kaju (cashewnuts)
- 4 tbsp oil
- 2 tsp dhania (coriander) powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala (mixed spices)
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- salt to taste
Method
- Powder magaz & kaju by grinding them together.
- Cut paneer into 1/2″ cubes.
- Chop tomatoes.
- Heat oil. Add tomatoes. Cook until oil separates.
- Add the powdered kaju & magaz. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add enough water to make gravy. Add salt to taste. Boil, simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
- Add paneer pieces. Remove from fire. 8. Serve hot.
