Paneer Masala
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 250 gms paneer – cut ito cubes
- 3 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp ajwain (carom seeds) – crushed
- 2 big onions – chopped finely
- 1″ piece ginger – chopped finely
- 2 green chillies – chopped finely
- 1 tsp garam masala (mixed spicies)
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp dhania (coriander powder)
- 3/4 cup beaten curd
- salt to taste
Method
- Cut paneer into 1-1/2″ x 1″ rectangular pieces.
- Heat 3 tbsp ghee, add 1 tsp ajwain crushed on a chakla belan.
- Add onions, green chillies and ginger. Cook till onions turn brown.
- Add 1 tsp chilli powder and 1 tsp dhania powder. Mix well. Add paneer.
- Blend in 3/4 cup beaten curd, salt and 1 tsp garam masala. Cook till curd dries up & ghee separates.
