Stuffed Red Chilli Pickle
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg fresh large red Chillies
- 1/2 kg mustard oil
Grind to a powder the following ingredients
- 2 tbsp roasted coriander (dhania)
- 1 tbsp ground spices (garam masala)
- 2 heaped tbsp dried mango powder (aam-choor)
- 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds (methi)
- 1 tbsp black cumin (kalonji)
- 1 tbsp red chillies
- 1 tbsp fennel seeds (saunf)
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds (rai)
- salt according to taste
Directions
- First wash and dry chillies.
- Slit open on one side.
- Mix all the ground spices (masalas)with little mustard oil.
- fill the ground spices (masalas) into the chillies and put the stuffed chillies into a jar.
- Pour mustard oil over the chillies and allow to stand in the sun for one week.
